When Michael Brewer talks about his
writing, you can hear the excitement in his voice as he speaks. He believes in
the basics and keeping it simple.
“Adults and children are not as different as
we think," he said. "We all like to use our gifts, be heard, be loved, and take risks.”
It
is by using visuals with his writing that he takes the risk to bridge to engage
children yet keep adults interested.
Brewer is a pastor, writer, and teacher whose books include Lessons from a Carpenter and Who Needs a Superhero? Join him for his workshops at KCWC.
