Prayer for KCWC 2007

The Planning Committee for the Kentucky Christian Writers Conference meets monthly to plan and report progress on conference details. Before the business meeting begins, the committee spends an entire hour in prayer. This month's meeting is set for Saturday, May 19. Beginning at 9:00 a.m., Eastern Daylight Time (8:00 a.m. Central Daylight Time), the committee will be together in prayer. Why not mark your calendar and pray for KCWC during that time?

The committee members pray for each other, for the conference featured speaker, for workshop leaders, for those who are registered, and for those who are trying to find a way to attend this year. All committee members are volunteers. Serving on the committee is a lot of work, but members do it gladly because of what the conference has meant to them in the past and what it can mean to future conferees in their quest for publication.

The committee asks for your prayers by quoting the works of the Apostle Paul.

"Dear brothers and sisters, I urge you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ to join me in my struggle by praying to God for me. Do this because of your love for me, given to you by the Holy Spirit" (Romans 15:30 NLT).
