Crystal, glass, watches

The traditional gift for a 15th anniversary is crystal, while the modern choices are either glass or watches, according to happy-anniversary.com.

Kentucky Christian Writers Conference will celebrate its 15th anniversary this year, June 24-25 in Elizabethtown. It's CRYSTAL CLEAR that you should consider attending; clean your GLASSES and WATCH out for numerous blessings from our speakers and faculty.

Okay, I'll lighten up on the puns and cliches. However, KCWC 2011 promises to be a special time. Noted writer and speaker Cecil "Cec" Murphey will join us once again, as will one of the ladies who helped start the conference, freelance writer/editor/proofreader Donna Goodrich.

Promotional items will be mailed out soon, and registration for KCWC is slated to open April 13, with an early-bird discount through May 13. Check www.kychristianwriters.com often for additional updates.

“A word is not a crystal, transparent and unchanged, it is the skin of a living thought and may vary greatly in color and content according to the circumstances and the time in which it is used.”--Oliver Wendell Holmes.
