Q & A with Chonda Pierce

You might have heard of our 2012 keynote speaker: award-winning comedienne Chonda Pierce. You might have seen her hilarious videos, read her many books, listened to her inspiring CDs. But what does Chonda think about her upcoming gig at KCWC? Keep reading and find out . . .
Q: What do you think about being chosen as keynote?
A: To be honest, I've been performing for almost 20 years, and I think this is the first time I've ever been a keynote speaker at a Writers Conference! This should be exciting, especially because I've been married to a real writer for almost 30 years!
Q: What do you hope to accomplish (or God to accomplish) in your presentations? What are some things you'd like to talk about/share at the conference?
A: Well, God can do anything He wants! He’s God, afterall! Me? I plan to simply do what I do–share a few laughs, mainly on the perils of living with a writer!
Q: Any words for those thinking about attending?
A: Anytime you have a chance to gather with those of like minds and faith to improve your craft, better your serve–why not? It will be great to see you there!

To hear more from Chonda, register for Kentucky Christian Writers Conference at www.kychristianwriters.com. The event is June 22-23 at Grace Heartland Church in Elizabethtown, KY.
