As you prepare to attend Kentucky Christian Writers Conference, remember that the most important you can do to prepare is to . . . . pray! A friend of mine who is a woodworker made me a wonderful plaque for Christmas that reads "Prayer is the Master Key." What a profound statement that applies to everything, especially writing.
Pray for yourself and for your fellow attendees. Pray for the keynote speaker and for the faculty members. Pray for the committee members who will be working tirelessly to "run a tight ship." As mentioned in a previous post, pray for "holy introductions and divine appointments." Pray for safe travel for everyone.
I could go on and on, but hopefully you've gotten the message: prayer is important!
