Update on Deadlines, Hotel Rates

The KCWC Committee met this weekend and decided to extend the meals guarantee deadline to June 10th. Originally, you had to register by June 1st to be guaranteed meals. Be assured that, if you register after June 10th, we will make every effort to make meals available to you. It's just that we cannot guarantee them.

Also, the Fairfield Inn offers a conference rate if you make your reservation by June 1st. If you plan to register for conference later in June, remember to reserve your room at Fairfield by the 1st. There will be a Meet and Greet for KCWC attendees at the Fairfield on Thursday evening, June 18, time to be announced later.

Conference Hotel Arrangements Set

The Elizabethtown Fairfield Inn is offering a conference rate of $105.00 plus tax for up to 4 persons per room. State and local taxes currently are 10.18% (subject to change without notice). Conference attendees must call the local phone number and not the corporate 800 number (270-769-1440 or 1-800-321-2211), and ask for KY Christian Writers rate when making their reservations.

Conference rate is good for Thursday and Friday nights, June 18-19, subject to availability. Any change in reservations must be made before June 1, 2009. Room reservations will be held until 6:00 pm on day of arrival unless guaranteed by an advance deposit or major credit card.

Make your reservations and register for conference ASAP. Registering early gives you a better chance of getting the faculty appointment you want.
