Have you registered for KCWC 2007? It's not too late. Details are on the website at www.kychristianwriters.com. Since the print brochure was mailed out this spring, we've added a fiction workshop (A Novel Approach to Fiction) and manuscript critiques. Again, see the website for more.
If you've already registered, it's time to get ready for your trip. Elizabethtown is a great city. The visitor center's website at www.touretown.com is one of the best I've ever run across. Take a few minutes to explore the site. You'll find a restaurant guide, hotel guide, attractions, events...the works!
The conference venue this year is Grace Heartland Church, 801 Pear Orchard Road. See the church website at http://www.graceheartland.org/. This is our first year to meet at this gorgeous new facility.
Be sure to look at the map and directions on our brochure or website. Most of you will come to town on I-65 and get off on Exit 94 on Mulberry Street. If you're coming from Louisville, you'll bear right off the ramp. Coming from the south, you'll turn left at the top of the ramp onto Mulberry. Continue on Mulberry to Ring Road (there's a Walgreen's on the right at this intersection). I mention Walgreen's because I have never been able to see the street signs in Etown in time to make the turn while dealing with the traffic. Turn right and follow Ring Road to Pear Orchard (traffic light) and turn left. Watch for the church on the left soon after the turn.
Looking forward to seeing you at KCWC 2007.
