All About KCWC: An Open Invitation

Our 16th annual Kentucky Christian Writers Conference is fast approaching, less than a month away. Planning committee members have been diligently working on the details to make this our best conference ever. If you are not sure if this year will work for you, let me encourage you to clear your schedule and make these two days top priority, June 22 and 23. It will be worth it, and you will be GLAD you came!!

Committee member Kelly Upchurch updates our website (www.kychristianwriters.com) regularly, and you will find everything you need there. You can register, check the schedule, find out about our keynote Chonda Pierce (a wonderfully funny and inspiring lady), see our first class line-up of faculty, and choose an appointment with an editor, publisher, or writer. You can even see pictures of the hard-working planning committee members!

If you are a minister, there is a complimentary ministers session on Friday to thank you for your hard work and to encourage your writing. Included in this deal: a workshop session, a keynote from Chonda, and lunch on us.

Meet and Greet is 7:00 pm at Grace Heartland Church on Thurs., June 21, the night before the conference begins. This event is a great time to meet the faculty and other attendees and to get a feel for the conference. A book signing from various authors will also be held during this time, and light refreshments will be served. During this popular time, you'll get a chance to relax and to make some connections with like-minded people. Plus it is just fun!

Carlton Hughes, our publications person, is presenting a first-timers session, to let the "newbies" know what to expect.

Register SOON for the conference. We do welcome walk-in registration, but it is better to pre-register. One day registrations are also available. Can't wait to see you!!
