The time has finally come for Kentucky Christian Writers Conference 2012! This year marks the 16th year for the event, and it just keeps getting better.
Registration begins this morning at 8 am at Grace Heartland Church. If this year is your first conference, you'll want to attend the "So You're a Newbie" workshop at 8:15 for some fun and for some advice. The main session begins at 9:00 AM. All meetings are in the Family Life Center, the building on the left (803).
The rest of the day is jam-packed with workshops, faculty appointments, and more. Enjoy fellowship with fellow attendees, and, if you need some quiet time, the conference prayer room is located in the church's Counseling Room.
Some things to remember from our Faculty/Facility Chair, Barbie Porter:
--Grace Heartland Church is handicapped accessible.
--Elizabethtown ordinances prohibit smoking in public facilities. Outdoor smoking must take place at least 10 feet from any entrance.
--Food and drinks must remain in the Dining Hall, but bottled water is allowed in classrooms.
--The Faculty Lounge is located in the Associate Pastor's Office.
--If you have questions or need assistance, look for committee members with a KCWC nametag.
--The KCWC Staff Communication Center is located in the Student Ministries Room if assistance is needed.
--Take note that Elizabethtown is on Eastern Standard Time.
Committee members are here to make your conference experience as enjoyable/informative/inspiring as possible, so don't hesitate to ask for help.
